Frankie Pulitzer Wore Our Mask in "Mad Technology"

When Frankie Pulitzer ordered a custom black-and-white zig-zag balaclava from our Chicago workshop, we made it the way we make everything — by hand, stitch by stitch. Then it showed up in one of the most talked-about rap videos of the year.

The video

On August 28, 2026, alongside the album release, CZARFACE dropped the official video for "Mad Technology" featuring Frankie Pulitzer and Method Man, from the album Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer (Silver Age Records). The setting: a New York rooftop. The look: our zig-zag balaclava, front and center.

The numbers took off immediately: 3.7 million YouTube views and 87,000+ likes — the most-watched video on the CZARFACE channel.

The press wave

XXL Magazine, WiLD 94.1, Billboard, HotNewHipHop, Stereogum, NME, People, Consequence and Variety all covered the project. And in the middle of that wave, the mask got its own credit: "created by Chicago-based Ukrainian clothing designer otkydach_usa." That is us — we are the makers of this mask.

What it did to the workshop

It blew the doors off. We ramped up mask production, and orders started landing from everywhere — Japan, Australia, Dubai, and beyond. A small Chicago workshop, suddenly shipping worldwide. This feature changed everything for us.
