Ingredients:
- Spaghetti – 200 g
- Water – 2 liters
- Salt – 10 g
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Olive oil – 30 ml
- Grated Parmesan cheese – 50 g
- Fresh parsley (optional) – 5 g
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Pasta:
- Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook spaghetti according to package instructions (usually 8–10 minutes) until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
-
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- While the spaghetti cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add finely minced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant (around 1–2 minutes). Be careful not to burn it.
-
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
- Drain the cooked spaghetti, reserving 50 ml of pasta water.
- Add the spaghetti to the pan with the garlic oil. Toss to coat evenly.
- If needed, add the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
-
Finish the Dish:
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and mix well.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
